You already understand yourself. So why does it still feel this way?

On the outside, you’re functioning. Maybe even thriving. Inside, something still feels off, tense, or disconnected.

You’ve done the reflecting. You can trace things back to your past. You know why you feel the way you do. But in your day-to-day life…
nothing really changes.

You might notice it in small, familiar ways:

  • Replaying something you said hours later

  • Comparing your body without even meaning to

  • Feeling slightly anxious, even when nothing’s wrong

  • You keep falling into the same patterns in relationships

It’s not that you don’t understand yourself. It’s that insight alone hasn’t been enough to create real change.

We’ll work in a way that helps your body, not just your mind, feel safe enough to change. Through somatic, attachment-based, and experiential therapy, including EMDR and other trauma-informed approaches, we focus on the nervous system, attachment patterns, and your relationship with your body, so change becomes something you not only understand but genuinely feel and live.

When insight isn’t enough, we work differently

A lot of therapy stays in your head. Talking, analyzing, making connections.

That can be helpful, but if you’re here, you may have already done that. The patterns you’re stuck in aren’t just cognitive. They live in your nervous system, your body, your automatic responses.

That’s why our work goes beyond insight into the deeper space where change actually happens.

Therapy for anxiety and trauma can start to feel like:

  • Not replaying conversations for hours after they happen

  • Catching anxiety earlier, before it spirals

  • Feeling more present in your body instead of stuck in your head

  • Responding in relationships instead of overthinking everything afterward

  • Having moments of calm that don’t disappear right away

Meet Your NYC Anxiety Therapist

Hello, I am Olivia- and my work is about creating change you can actually feel

I’m an experiential therapist, which means I’m less interested in helping you just understand yourself, and more focused on helping you actually feel and create change

I integrate approaches like EMDR, somatic therapy, and parts work (IFS), but what matters most is how it feels to be in the process.

Slower. More attuned. Less performative.

We pay attention to what’s happening in real time; in your body, your emotions, your internal responses, so change isn’t just something you think about, but something you actually experience.

I tend to work with women who are already quite self-aware. The ones who reflect deeply, understand their patterns, and still feel stuck in ways they can’t quite shift. Many have tried therapy before and are looking for something that goes beyond insight.

If you’re looking for a space where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out, you’re in the right place.
